One night, predinner hunger prompted us to raid the fridge for ingredients. The result is this delightful avocado tahini dip that combines flavors from around the world.

Server with sliced vegetables, tortilla chips, or turn up the heat with spicy gluten-free pretzels.

Ingredients

  • ½ avocado
  • 3 tablespoon tahini
  • 1½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Pinch of sea salt

Fork and Whisk Directions

Mash avocado with a fork in a medium-sized bowl.

Whisk in tahini, lemon juice, tomato paste, and a pinch of salt.

Thin with up to 1/3 cup of water (a drizzle at a time) and season with more salt, if needed.

In a small food processor, blend together avocado, tahini, lemon juice, tomato paste, and a pinch of salt.
